Interested in joining Stonewall Kickball Pittsburgh?

If you are a returning player for another season or brand new to the league, we are very excited to have you joining this Fall.

This season we will have two ways to register. Want to have a team? Register as a TEAM CAPTAIN. Captains will be able to build a team from the list of individual players (free agents).

Want to just play in the league or sign up for a specific team? Then register as a FREE AGENT. This season all players, new and returning, that are not interested in being a captain will register as a free agent. Don't worry, you still can get on your favorite team! Team captains can invite you or you can search teams yourself to see who is playing where!! Find a team you want to be on, reach out to the captain, and get yourself on their line up before the team reaches 20 players!

Important Information for the Fall Season

• Captains will be asked this season to select a TEAM AMBASSADOR to champion league communication of outings, events, social gatherings, and other happenings during the Fall season. More details will be main available to Captains once registration has opened.
• There will be a MAX number of 24 teams allowed this season (480 players). Register quickly not to miss out.
• As with any season, Games MAY start at 11AM. This will be determined once the total number of teams for the Fall are known.
• Players NOT PAID IN FULL by the close of registration (NOON on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23rd) will forfeit their registration and not be placed on a team for the Fall 2017 season.

Teams:

Teams must have at least 14 members to be considered a team, but will not officially be considered full until the team reaches a maximum number of 20 players. Teams may be assigned players until the team is considered full. This season, to assist the league in communication to all the players, each teams captain will name a TEAM AMBASSADOR. A captains and team ambassadors meeting will be held in the EVENING on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Location and time to be sent to captains.

Schedule:

The Fall Season, played at Arsenal Park in Lawrenceville, will begin on Sunday, September 17 (there will be no official skills clinic or scrimmage game this season) and end with our championship Sunday, November 5th. To see the full schedule click here.

Games will be played on Sundays. The number of games played per Sunday will be based on the number of teams that register. Full schedule to be released shortly after the close of registration. As stated above, games MAY START AT 11AM this season and the last games MAY START AT 5PM, depending on number of teams.

Payment:

Dues for the Fall Season will be $40 (plus a processing fee of $3.51). Payment is due in full prior to the close of registration. Any player not paid in full by NOON on Wednesday, AUGUST 23rd will not be considered a Fall registered player, forfeiting their spot in the league for the Fall 2017 Season. Please note: A player is not confirmed to the league or a team until payment is paid in full.

Team Color Selection:

Once a team has secured 14 registered players, the team captain may request to pick the team's color for their league shirts. Colors may be limited to two like colors per season. Color choices will be sent to team captains for selection. Team captains will email kickball@stonewallsportspgh.org to request and secure their color choice.

Playoffs & Championship Games:

This season's playoffs & championship will be played on Sunday, November 5th. Games may start earlier than our normal weekly start time to accommodate all the games. Playoff bracket and times of all playoff games will be made available Monday, October 30th.

Sunday Play:

Each team may be required to participate in multiple doubleheaders this season based on the number of registered teams. League Leadership will post the official schedule and times as quickly as possible once registration closes. Note: Game start times may be 11AM, Noon, 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5pm.

Games will be played on Sundays from September 17th to November 5th. No specific rain date has been set for this season. Rain make up games will be scheduled, if needed, throughout the season.

Umpires will be required to attend the league umpire meeting the EVENING of TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2017. Place to be determined.
