Who will reign supreme in the 14th Season of Stonewall Kickball in Pittsburgh? Only time will tell! Whether you are a returning player or brand new, thank you for joining this Supreme Spring Season! Read below for important information for your participation in the league.

TEAM CAPTAINS: Once you register as a Team Captain, you can individually invite players or add them directly from the free agent list. Only one person per team can register as Team Captain.

PLAYERS (aka FREE AGENTS): Once you register as a Free Agent, let your captain know and they will add you to the team. Are you new to the league this year? Make sure you join the Stonewall Kickball Pittsburgh Facebook group to meet other players and find a team. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE 2022 SPRING SEASON:

• Registration is capped at a maximum of 440 players, 22 total teams with a maximum of 20 players and a minimum of 12 players per team.

• Regular season games will start as early as 10am and playoff games will likely start even earlier. These details will be determined once the total number of teams for the season is known.

• You'll be asked to pay the registration fees once you're added to an active roster. Players not paid in full by the close of registration (11:59pm Saturday, March 12) will forfeit their registration and not be able to participate. Please note: A player is not confirmed to neither the league nor a team until payment is paid in full.

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY ACCOMODATIONS:

• Masks are strongly recommended for players at all times. Limited masks will be available for players who do not bring their own.

• If in the last 5 days you have come into contact with anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or having a confirmed or pending diagnosis OR you yourself are exhibiting symptoms/pending a diagnosis, you will be ruled ineligible to play.

• Sanitizing stations will be present at the fields & players are encouraged to utilize them before, during, and after gameplay.

• No spitting or smoking on or off the fields.

• All players who are sick or not feeling well are required to stay home and If symptoms appear while at the field, the leadership board retains the right to ask the player to leave immediately.

TEAMS: Teams must have at least 12 registered and paid-in-full players to be considered full but can have up to 20 players. Each team must choose a Co-Captain and a Team Ambassador; captains must email their choices to kickball@stonewallsportspgh.org before the close of registration.

SPRING SEASON: The Spring 2022 Season, located at Arsenal Park, will begin on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 and ends with playoffs on Sunday, June 5, rain or shine. If unplayable weather occurs throughout the season, the make-up date is Sunday May 8.

COST: Fees for this season will be $40 (plus a processing fee of $4.50) due once you are placed on a roster. Payment is due in full by 11:59pm on Saturday, March 12. Any player not paid in full by that time will be considered ineligible and forfeiting their spot in the league.

TEAM COLOR SELECTION: Once a team has secured 12 registered and paid-in-full players, team captains may request team color for t-shirts. Captains choose their top three colors in order and send that in an email to Aaron White (kickball@stonewallsportspgh.org). First come, first served.

REGULAR SEASON PLAY: Teams will play 8 games over the course of 6 Sundays, with two days being doubleheaders. Games will be played on the following Sundays: April 3, April 10, April 24, May 1, May 15, and May 22. Playoffs will be played on June 5. Rain make-up date is May 8.

PLAYOFFS & CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: Spring 2022 playoffs will take place on Sunday, June 5, rain or shine. Games will likely start earlier than normal weekly start times to accommodate all the teams in the playoffs. The bracket and game times will be made available shortly after the last regular season game

UMPIRES: If you are interested in being an umpire, please select YES when completing your registration. Umpires are essential for the league to function, so please consider volunteering. This season, umpires can expect to receive a gift card after each game. Umpires will be required to attend a brief meeting prior to the start of the season. Leadership will reach out with more details after registration.
